The Comic-Con has been and gone and I now have a whole multitude of
updates for those not lucky enough to have witnessed everything
firsthand.
Firstly,
there are five new articles up in the Interviews section: three of
these about the 'Hot Fuzz' preview, and two on what Edgar had to say
about 'Ant-Man'.
Next we have three more photos in the Misc. section from the Marvel Studios presentation.

There's a new video for you in the Videos and Downloads section! It's
an interview from the Comic-Con with Edgar and Nick which has been
split into two parts.
The
Quicktime files are very big, don't be put off when they don't load
straight away. You can choose to view these in small (50MB -
recommended) or large (116MB - for fast connections) format.
Alternatively, I'm uploading both sections to Google Video so you could
watch them there (when they're live) if you prefer.
Three
more Misc. photos added. And I've also been informed that the last item
added to the Interviews section was not a transcript of the panel
itself, but of an interview that took place beforehand - sorry about
that!

Howdy all. For anyone in the Edinburgh area at the end of this month, I
have good news for you! It appears Mr. Wright will be talking with
'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone at the Edinburgh
International Television Festival.
This will take place on the 27th August (that's the Sunday) at 11:30 in the Pentland venue.

I've managed to get the Comic-Con interview on to You Tube for all you
Quicktime-less people out there. I had to split it into four parts due
to length and file size restrictions, but I promise you it's all there.

of you, it's on the right there. You can test it out now by hovering your cursor over
the bold date and viewing the information displayed in the orange box.
So if 'Shaun Of The Dead' is on Sky Movies,

the information there.

There's a newly found video up in V&D.
It's a short clip directed by Edgar taken from
Channel 4's 'Takeover TV' (presented by the lovely Adam and Joe) which was a programme
where budding young hopefuls could showcase their talents by having their five minutes
(or less) of footage broadcast to the nation. This clip was shown in 1995.

'Hot Fuzz' action with Simon and Nick at the London MCM Expo! Unfortunately, Edgar
won't be making an appearance as he's still working hard editing the film. But there will
be a 'Hot Fuzz' stand with give-aways, a presentation with footage from the film and a
signing and Q&A with the guys. This event takes place on Saturday 28th October
from 11:00am - 6:00pm. See the London Expo site for more details.
Also, there will be a similar 'Hot Fuzz' feature
at Manchester's Collectormania G-Mex on the 18th and 19th November. The 'Hot Fuzz'
talk and presentation will be between 1:30pm - 2.00pm on the Sunday. "Very special

News from Simon that the recently completed
full-length 'Hot Fuzz' trailer should be hardlocked to most prints of the new Bond film when
it comes out, so look out for that if you go and see it.
And I hope those of you who made it to the Expo
yesterday had a good time (despite the stunning lack of organisation). Big hello to all the
people I met there!
UPDATE: Oh, and Empire magazine have a
nice four page article on 'Hot Fuzz' at the moment - it's the December issue with Daniel

week with David Schwimmer to promote their new film
'Big Nothing'. Here's hoping Jonathan

U.S. readers, I'm afraid I have some bad news... Rogue Pictures have pushed your 'Hot
Fuzz' release date back to April 13th 2007. It is suspected that this has to do with
the also highly anticipated '300', which was due to be released at around the same time.
The UK release date is still set at February 16th.
